Redrop Music is designed as a strictly offline local music player. We believe your music library is your private domain. The application does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data, usage statistics, or analytics with our servers or any third-party servers.

2. Local Storage & Permissions

To function as a music player, Redrop requires the following permission:

• READ_MEDIA_AUDIO / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: This is strictly used to scan your device's local storage to locate, organize, and play your audio files (.mp3, .flac, etc.) and fetch associated album art.

All data generated by the app, including equalizers presets, favorite lists, rename mappings, and UI theme preferences, are saved strictly on your local device via SharedPreferences. None of this data leaves your phone.

3. Internet Connectivity

Redrop Music does not require an active internet connection to play your local music. The app does not contain any hidden tracking scripts, crash reporters (like Firebase Crashlytics), or advertisement SDKs that would require network access.

4. Children's Privacy

Because our application does not collect personal data, it complies fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Since the app does not collect user emails, we cannot notify you directly of changes. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
